The head of the regional military administration of the Kharkov region, Oleg Sinegubov, said that over the past 24 hours the authorities evacuated 1,775 residents of the region.
According to Sinegubov, 1,048 people were taken from the Chuguevsky district, 440 from the Kharkovsky district, 12 from the Bogodukhovsky district. Another 275 people were evacuated by volunteers. Fighting is currently taking place on the territory of the Kharkov region.
