Accused of preparing for treason, Tolyatti resident Polina Yevtushenko was sent to a punishment cell for eight days in early May. She herself wrote about this in a letter to a Kholod correspondent.
Politzeki. Polina Yevtushenko is the same girl with blue hair who called Putin a fascist
25-year-old Polina Yevtushenko was detained in July 2023. She is being held in a pre-trial detention center located on the territory of Samara IK-15.
The girl said that she was in the punishment cell from May 2 to May 10. The pretext for the punishment was that she turned off the TV 10 minutes later than expected.
She noted that although there was only cold water in the punishment cell, its windows looked out onto the forest and sky. In her usual cell, the sky is not visible.
“The window looks straight at the birch trees and snow, you can even see the sky and the sun. In the first two hours, I froze near the window, enjoying the view of the evening sun and birch trees, and tears appeared in my eyes from the happiness of the beautiful view,” the Togliatti woman recalled in a letter. “It gave me great pleasure to be there [because] I saw the street every day, I walked along it, when we were taken for a walk to the courtyards in another building and to the shower.”
“Putin is a fascist.” What is known about the blue-haired girl arrested on charges of treason due to Instagram posts and banknotes with anti-war inscriptions
According to investigators, Yevtushenko “persuaded a resident of Samara to commit high treason” — namely, to join the Russian Freedom Legion. The Samara directorate of the FSB claimed that Yevtushenko “carried out propaganda work,” “posted instructions for Russian military personnel to surrender and propaganda materials creating a positive image” of the “Freedom of Russia” legion.
In addition to the case of preparing for treason, Yevtushenko was charged under five more articles. Among them are assistance terrorism, rehabilitation of Nazism on the Internet, calls in social networks to extremism, justification terrorism and distribution of military “fakes”.
According to the calculations of the “First Department”, the girl faces up to 22.5 years in prison. Human rights activists note that Yevtushenko has a daughter, who turned six in March.
