MOSCOW, May 13. Stuntman Vladimir Zharikov died at the age of 85, the press service of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia reported on the Telegram channel.
“On May 10, at the age of 86, the honorary cinematographer of Russia, candidate of philosophical sciences, actor, stuntman, poet and prose writer, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Vladimir Yuryevich Zharikov, passed away,” the publication says.
Zharikov’s creative biography includes more than 80 acting works in films, the press service noted. His projects include such films as «D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers» and «Pirates of the 20th Century».
In addition, Zharikov participated three times in Stanislav Govorukhin's film «The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed» in stunts: he replaced a policewoman who was hit by a car, a waitress in a restaurant thrown out of a window, and Fox in fight scenes.
