MOSCOW, May 13.The Courier-30 drone will be the first among Russian drones to be included in the register of domestic industrial products using a point system, the press service of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) reported.
“»The Courier-30 drone for delivering cargo weighing up to 6 kg over a distance of up to 18 km was the first among Russian unmanned aerial vehicles to receive an examination certificate, which will allow it to be included in the register of domestic industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade according to new requirements. The drone fully complies criteria for “Russianness” established by the state,” the press service reported.
In December 2023, the Russian government amended Resolution No. 719 “On confirmation of the production of industrial products on the territory of the Russian Federation.” The document provides criteria for confirming the production of the main elements of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the country. The resolution contains a separate section on civil drones of airplane, helicopter and multi-engine types. In order to stimulate the localization of UAS production, a point system for its evaluation has been introduced depending on the importance and complexity of key components.
The drone was developed by the Nizhny Novgorod company Clevercopter. It is equipped with an electric motor and can fly at speeds of up to 50 km per hour in two modes: operator control or automatic flight according to instructions. The drone is capable of flying at temperatures from -25 to +40 degrees, which allows it to be used as a delivery vehicle even in the northern regions of the country, the press service clarified. The device is produced serially.
«»We were the first in Russia to receive an examination certificate for the Courier-30 drone according to government decree No. 719. With this act, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially confirmed that the Courier-30 is an unmanned aircraft system manufactured in Russia and fully complies with the criteria» Russianness» established by the state. Until December 2023, products that received the ST-1 certificate from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry could be included in the register of Russian industrial products,» said Sergei Gusev, general director of the Clevercopter UAS manufacturing company, whose words were reported by the press. NTI service.
In October 2023, «Courier-30» successfully passed factory tests. The device was tested in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The drone spent 10 hours in the sky, flew in rain, fog, wind gusts of up to 10 m/s and zero temperatures, made 40 flights with cargo and flew a total of more than 400 kilometers, NTI said.
