ST. PETERSBURG, May 13. The Tashir company has become an investor helping to restore the Peter I fort in Kronstadt, you can see the updated facility in 2025, said Ksenia Shoigu, head of the project office of the “Island of Forts” tourist and recreational cluster.
“I’m sure that “Peter I” will open its doors in 2025. I’ll reveal a little secret: one of the investors has already been selected… This is the Tashir company. They will be engaged in permanent and temporary exhibitions, and food outlets will also be located,” — Shoigu said at a press conference. 
The concept of the tourist and recreational cluster “Island of Forts” is to preserve the historical heritage to the maximum extent possible. The Kronstadt forts — «Kronshlot», «Peter I» and «Emperor Alexander the First», which are cultural monuments and objects of the UNESCO list, are planned not only to be restored, but also to be provided with conditions for further independent life as tourist display points. It is expected that Fort Peter I will have a mine-explosive museum, space for cultural events, a restaurant and a cafe. Fort Kronshlot will become a venue for weddings in the picturesque surroundings of the inner harbor and the historical buildings of the fort. Also on the fort there will be a museum complex of the history of the first fort of Kronstadt, a restaurant, a souvenir shop and a cinema. At the fort «Emperor Alexander I» there will be a museum of the history of the fight against infectious diseases, a restaurant, and hotel rooms.
"Tashir" is the largest Russian diversified industrial and construction group, which includes about 200 companies and enterprises operating in various sectors of the Russian economy.
