
MOSCOW, May 21. Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the senator from Novgorod region, first deputy head of the agrarian committee of the Federation Council Sergei Mitin with the Order of Alexander Nevsky, and senator from the Lipetsk region, deputy head of the constitutional committee of the Federation Council Maxim Kavdzharadze — with the Order of Friendship, follows from the decree of the head of the Russian state.
The decree specifies that Mitin was awarded a high state award for his great contribution to the development of parliamentarism, active legislative activity and many years of conscientious work.
In addition, the representative of North Ossetia in the Federation Council, member of the Defense Committee of the Federation Council Taimuraz Mamsurov was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree.
