GROZNY, May 21. Chairman of the Government of Chechnya Muslim Khuchiev left his post, said the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
““Muslim Khuchiev, in connection with his transfer to another job, resigned as chairman of the government of the Chechen Republic,” he wrote in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that his duties will be fulfilled will be Isa Tumkhadzhiev.
Khuchiev has headed the government of Chechnya since June 2018. Kadyrov noted that over the years of his official activity, “he devoted himself to his work with all his soul, invested his strength in effectively solving social, economic and other important problems in the region.”
Tumkhadzhiev has served as First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Chechnya since November 2023 — Minister of Highways of the Republic. Before that, he headed the region’s Accounts Chamber for 2.5 years.
