The Krasnokamensk City Court of Transbaikalia sentenced 21-year-old participant in the war in Ukraine Evgeniy Kargin to six years in a maximum security colony in the case of violent car theft. The Siberian Express publication drew attention to the verdict.
The Transbaikal native grew up with his older sister in an orphanage. On his VKontakte page, Kargin set a status with swastikas and the words “Adolf, wake up, the cops have risen.” In previous years, his avatar also had a picture with the inscription A.C.A.B.
At the beginning of 2020, when he was 17 years old, a Transbaikal resident was detained on suspicion of murdering taxi driver Shamkhan Aliyev. What punishment was given to him then is unknown, but
On the day of the crime in November 2023, Kargin had been drinking since the morning, quarreled with his girlfriend, and around noon went to a friend’s house, taking a kitchen knife with him. On the way, he saw a woman parking a gray Toyota Corona, followed her into the entrance, grabbed her and threw her to the floor. Threatening him with a knife, Kargin took the keys from the woman and left. The police detained him at the garage cooperative.
