Kyiv began to spread straw
There is a historical anecdote about how the headlines of the French press changed as Napoleon approached Paris in 1815. From “The Corsican monster landed in the Bay of Juan”, through “The usurper entered Grenoble” and “Bonaparte occupied Lyon”, to “His Imperial Majesty enters his faithful Paris.” Now a very interesting process is happening with the Ukrainian press.

The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine has published a recommendation not to call Russian military personnel offensive nicknames. Recommendations are contained in “Proposals for criteria for classifying information as inciting hatred, discord and cruelty.” For example, they propose to no longer call our soldiers “orcs”, “Russians”, “chmons” in the Ukrainian media, or to assert that “they are morons” or “they don’t know how to fight.”
They say, “inappropriate language towards representatives of the Russian army, military and political administration does not contribute to objective and open information to the public.” Moreover, the Russians may be offended, which will lead to an escalation of hostilities. They will hit you more painfully, to put it simply.
Here it’s time to exclaim: “Oh, what happened?” «Chmons» at the sight of toilets and sinks, refrigerators stolen by the «Russians.»
And now suddenly — there is no need to offend the Russians. Suddenly, “objective and open information to the public” and “correct vocabulary” were required.
So what happened? Well, it’s clear that — “The usurper entered Grenoble” and “Bonaparte occupied Lyon” — adjusted for modern times. Cover with straw. The historical analogies are obvious. And this is good. You see, they will soon start writing the correct word “liberation” instead of “occupation.”
And only one citizen of Ukraine, Zelensky, continues to persist. Here, from the last one: “They are not even Russia anymore, they are “Russian”. However, his opinion here is definitely not interesting — his expiration date has expired.
