Details have emerged about a gang of former Russian police officers from Yekaterinburg, which was led by the ex-head of one of the city’s anti-drug departments. The group included three of his colleagues and one civilian who was the driver.
They are accused of a series of murders, including the shooting of a businessman and his girlfriend on the street in 2000. E1.ru writes about this.
The bandits tracked down the entrepreneur and demanded that he give up the money, threatening him with a pistol and a tire iron. The businessman resisted, after which he was beaten and shot.
The source of the publication said that the former “werewolves in uniform” were charged with a lot of other things: possession of weapons, banditry, robbery. They face, on the most serious charge, murder, up to life imprisonment.
They committed all the crimes for the sake of money. Moreover, the raiders were so confident in themselves that they did not even wear masks.
So far, one criminal case has been opened for several murders, but it will probably not be the only one.
