In the Rostov region, a man was detained who killed an 8-year-old girl in the forest. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
According to the department, a 25-year-old resident of the Aksai district was driving a car and saw an unfamiliar schoolgirl by the road. He invited her to get into the car and give her a ride home. After that, he drove with the girl into the forest, where he strangled her.
The man admitted guilt and was arrested in a criminal case for the murder of a minor (clause “c” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).
According to 161.RU, the accused’s name is Ruslan Shingirei, he was detained on the night of May 18 using CCTV cameras. According to journalists, he worked as a tow truck driver and in 2022 went to war in Ukraine. Male acquaintances said that he probably fled from the front.
