MOSCOW, May 23. Leaders of Belarus and the Russian Federation , Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, will discuss in Minsk the conflict in Ukraine, as well as the “behavior” of Poland and the Baltic countries on the border with Belarus, said the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will go to Belarus on Thursday evening for a two-day official visit, where extensive negotiations will take place with Alexander Lukashenko.
«Vladimir Vladimirovich was going to inform about the current situation in the Ukrainian conflict — this, naturally, is the main issue. Our president will inform about the trends that are happening today in our country in terms of strengthening security, our southern border, as well as the latest events related to the behavior of the Baltic countries and Poland on our western border,” said Krutoy.
