MOSCOW, May 24. Eight out of ten ( 81.1%) of Russians surveyed trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, 78.7% approve of his work, follows from the results of a survey by VTsIOM.
According to data published on the VTsIOM website, 81.1% of Russians trust Putin, 15.3% of respondents expressed distrust. 65% of respondents trust the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, and 16.7% do not trust him.
78.7% approve of the president's work, 13.5% disapprove. The work of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation is approved by 55.8% of citizens, disapproval was expressed by 8.4%.
In addition, when asked which party they would vote for if elections to the State Duma were held next Sunday, 40.2% named “United Russia”, 8.7% — the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, 9.5% — LDPR, 6.5% — «New People», 3.6% — «A Just Russia — Patriots — For the Truth.» Also, 9.9% of respondents indicated non-parliamentary parties, 9.2% found it difficult to answer, 11% reported that they would not participate in the elections.
The initiative all-Russian survey «VTsIOM-Sputnik» was conducted from May 13 to May 19, 2024. 1,600 people over 18 years old took part in it. The survey method is a telephone interview using a single-base random sample of mobile numbers. The sample was built on the basis of a complete list of mobile phone numbers used in the Russian Federation. For a given random (probability) sample, the maximum error with a probability of 95% does not exceed 1% for data collected over seven days (11,200 people).
