Mishustin appointed the former head of the Chechen government as his assistant

MOSCOW, May 24. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed an order appointing former head of the Chechen Cabinet Muslim Khuchiev as his assistant, who will be in charge of the regional agenda, the press service of the Russian government reported.
«Muslim Khuchiev has been appointed Assistant to the Prime Minister. An order on this has been signed. Muslim Khuchiev, who previously headed the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chechen Republic, and also has extensive experience at the municipal level, will be in charge of the regional agenda, including monitoring the execution of orders of the Chairman of the Government based on the results of work trips to the regions,» the press service reported.
Khuchiev will also oversee a number of forums and conferences, including the annual Caucasus Investment Forum. In 2024, it will be held in the city of Grozny.
