In June, one category of Russians will be paid a double pension
In June, some older people will receive a double pension. More precisely, payments will be assigned in June, but the money will begin to arrive in July.
As the Parliamentary Gazette clarifies, from June 1, an additional payment will be accrued to those people who have turned 80 years old. Moreover, in 2024 this increase will be 100% of the fixed part of the pension, namely 8134 rubles 88 kopecks. Thus, the payment will be increased to 16,269 rubles.
The accrual will be made automatically; no applications need to be submitted for this.
At the same time, the publication draws attention to the fact that disabled people of the first group after achieving 80-year-olds will not receive a double pension, since they already receive increased payments.
