DONETSK, May 26. The number of victims of shelling by Ukrainian troops of Gorlovka on Saturday increased to seven, the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko reported in his Telegram channel .
Previously, Prikhodko reported six victims.
«Updated data. Seven civilians of Gorlovka were injured of varying degrees of severity as a result of Ukrainian armed aggression on May 25, 2024,» Prikhodko wrote.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
