A Muscovite was sent to a pre-trial detention center on a case of calls for terrorism after two reports of petty hooliganism

The Perovsky District Court of Moscow arrested local resident Sergei Baltrushevich in the case of calls for terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the capital's courts.

TASS clarifies that the man is 28 years old and an entrepreneur. According to investigators, Baltrushevich wrote a comment in the public page “Nº — News of the Day” on VKontakte with “calls for terrorist activities in Moscow.”

According to information from the website of the capital's courts, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center on Friday, May 24. The authors of the telegram channel “Caution, News” write that the man was detained on May 11. The police say he accosted a man on the street and loudly swore.

At first, Baltrushevich was fined a thousand rubles, and upon leaving the courthouse he was detained again. According to the second protocol on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code) — this time at an alcohol market — the entrepreneur was arrested for ten days. On leaving the special detention center, he learned that he had become a defendant in the case of justifying terrorism.
