Almost 70 protest participants detained in Armenia

YEREVAN, May 27. Almost 70 participants of the action A protest demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, led by the head of the Tavush diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, was detained by the police, the correspondent reports.
«Since morning, 67 protesters have been detained,» the agency's interlocutor said.
Since May 9, protests have been taking place in Yerevan demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, an end to the process of delimiting the border with Azerbaijan and the transfer of a number of border territories to the Azerbaijani side. The protest is headed by the head of the Tavush diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
