MOSCOW, May 25. Dutch police have released American singer Nicki Minaj, who was previously detained at Amsterdam airport on suspicion of drug possession, AFP reports, citing a police representative.
The NL Times portal previously reported that Nicki Minaj was allegedly arrested at Amsterdam airport on suspicion of drug possession.
«There is no reason to continue to keep her in custody. We have all the information necessary for the documents. The case is closed,» Robert Capel, a representative of the Royal Netherlands Military Police, told the agency.
According to him, the detainee released after paying a fine. It is noted that light drugs were found in the singer’s luggage.
Minaj herself wrote on her account on the social network X that airport security found marijuana in her things.
