The large Korean crossover will have an even more impressive appearance. In addition, models are tipped to have a hybrid version. It is possible that the transformed SUV will be presented this year.
The three-row crossover Hyundai Palisade, almost five meters long, debuted in 2018; restyling was carried out in 2022. In the brand’s native Korea, the SUV ended last year in the red: according to company statistics, 41,093 units were sold there. (-17%). But in the US, the model set a sales record in 2023 — 89,509 customers (+8%) chose the Palisade. And now the second generation cross is approaching. Camouflaged prototypes have already begun to be spotted on Korean roads, and the latest video was posted by the local YouTube channel Shorts Car. Moreover, in these frames the crossover is captured with a serial body and almost uncovered optics.

Apparently, the model will have a more “off-road” image. By the way, the brand did the same with the new Santa Fe. Among the exterior design features of the next Palisade are vertical rectangular headlight units with stacked LED running lights (they can put on a “light show” while driving), vertical taillights, sculpted fenders and full roof rails.

The interior is still classified. It is quite possible that, following other Hyundai models, the crossover will switch to a single curved display, whereas the current Palisade has a recessed dashboard. Well, most likely, the SUV will retain its three-row configuration.

Foreign media predict a hybrid installation for the new Hyundai Palisade, but the “traditional” versions are also likely to remain. However, there are no details about the technology yet. The range of the current crossover, depending on the market, includes naturally aspirated petrol V6 3.5 MPI and V6 3.8 GDI, as well as a 2.2 turbodiesel. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The second generation Hyundai Palisade may make its world premiere before the end of this year.
