WASHINGTON, May 27. American actor Johnny Wector died from a bullet from robbers in Los Angeles, KABC TV channel reports.
Wector, who was 37, appeared primarily in television series, including «Westworld» and «General Hospital.»
On Sunday night, the actor encountered criminals who were removing the catalytic converter from his car. “At first he decided that the car was being towed… and came over to investigate. The suspect turned to him, wearing a mask, and opened fire,” the TV channel reported.
Three suspects fled the crime scene. Wector was taken to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
