DOHA, May 31. The ruling Shia movement in northern Yemen » Ansar Allah» threatened an «immediate and direct response» to the shelling of Yemen by the United States and Britain on all «targets» of these countries in the Red and Arabian Seas, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria said in a message on his Telegram channel.
«Armed» Yemeni forces will respond directly and immediately to any new aggression against Yemen, targeting all sources of threat and all US-British enemy targets in the Red and Arabian Seas,» he noted.
On Friday night, the US and British air forces carried out 13 airstrikes on targets in three provinces of Yemen, including civilian ones — a radio station building in the city of Hodeidah and a coast guard building in the port, which, according to the latest data, killed 16 people.
