The Chita Garrison Military Court sentenced contract soldier Daniil Vizhevich to seven years in a maximum security colony in the case of the death of a nightclub visitor. This was reported by representatives of the court.
According to the investigation, Vizhevich at about 6 a.m. on February 4, 2024, was in a nightclub and had an argument with another visitor, who “hurt him, despite warnings.”
The men came out onto the porch, and Vizhevich punched his opponent in the face and pushed him to the ground. He hit his head on a metal pole and asphalt. The victim was taken away in an ambulance, but he died in the regional clinical hospital without regaining consciousness.
Vizhevich was accused of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death by negligence (Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code). In addition to the term, one million rubles were also recovered from the military man as compensation for moral damage.

According to the document, Vizhevich, who was 18 years old at the time, found someone else’s bank card on the sofa in the Chita club “Platina” and with friends spent more than three thousand rubles from it in another establishment — the “Guranych” bar. The judge dismissed the case of theft due to the parties' comparison (clause “d” of Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code).
