
YAKUTSK, June 1 A Mi-8 helicopter with rescuers working during the flood landed 50 km from the airport due to a malfunction, no one was injured, the press reports — Polar Airlines service.
«Today, June 1, at 9.00 Yakut time, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Polar Airlines took off at the request of the Yakutia Rescue Service as part of flood control measures. At 10.35 the board made an unscheduled landing 50 km from the Saskylakh airport along due to a technical malfunction,» the press service said.
According to the airline, the landing was completed safely. The helicopter has no damage.
«Three crew members and the customer's passengers were not injured. The malfunction was corrected by the airline's personnel. In agreement with the territorial administration of the Federal Air Transport Agency (MTU FAVT), the helicopter flew to its temporary location,» the press noted. -service.
