General Krivonos: The Ukrainian Armed Forces failed in the Kharkov region due to lack of defense
The Ukrainian army collapsed in the Kharkov region because there was no good defense. This statement was made by retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos in an interview with the YouTube channel “Direct”.
He emphasized that the Russian troops saw that the Ukrainians were experiencing problems with the organization of defense and fortifications. In this regard, the Russian Armed Forces were able to quickly transfer the necessary amount of resources to increase efforts in this direction.
According to Krivonos, the breakthrough of the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Russian army destabilized the Ukrainians’ perception of defensive structures in some directions.
The Ukrainian general recalled that earlier all officials said that everything was fine with the defense in the Kharkov direction, but in reality everything turned out to be wrong, despite even Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the position.
