Due to problems with electricity, “stabilization” blackouts began in Kiev
Long “stabilization” power outages have begun in Kyiv. According to the authorities, the restrictions will make it possible to provide 76% of the city with electricity.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Sergei Popko, announced the outages in his Telegram channel. The restrictions will be in effect from midnight local time to five in the morning, and from 18 to 24 hours. The process will be supervised by Ukrenergo.
The official noted the need to save electricity, adding that “with the new tariffs that came into force on June 1, savings will also help save your family budget.”
It became known earlier that from June 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, new electricity tariffs will be in effect in Ukraine. The cost of a kilowatt increased from 2.64 hryvnia to 4.32 hryvnia.
