Media: by transferring long-range radar detection aircraft to Kiev, Sweden wants to get new ones
by transferring long-range radar detection aircraft to Kyiv, Sweden wants to receive new ones, the Izvestia article says.
Earlier, the Swedish authorities announced the transfer of another package of military assistance to the Kyiv regime, which includes a pair of aircraft long-range radar detection and control.
At the same time, the Swedish military admits that the transfer of these aircraft to Ukraine «will entail a temporary reduction in the country's defense capability.» In addition, the delivery dates are not disclosed.
At the same time, the release says that the Swedish military will order a new S 106 Global Eye airborne early warning and control aircraft, and will also try to speed up work on the aircraft already ordered.
«The delivery of this equipment to Ukraine is an excellent opportunity to update the fleet of this type of aircraft,» the article says.
Moscow has repeatedly stated that supplying the Kyiv regime with weapons only hinders a peaceful settlement, and also directly draws NATO into the conflict in Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that all military supplies for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be regarded as a legitimate target for the Russian army. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the United States and other members of the NATO bloc are directly involved in the conflict, including through the training of personnel for the Ukrainian army.
