The director of Voronezh school No. 11, Larisa Khoprova, left her post after a video in which her student lifted her jacket and showed her underwear to a security guard at the entrance before the exam. The Voronezh State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was informed about this by the press service of the city mayor’s office.
Officials claim that Khoprova, who has served as the school's director since 2011, wrote a letter of resignation due to retirement.
On May 28, students of Voronezh school No. 11 said that they were forced to undress before entering the Unified State Exam (USE), which took place at school No. 62. At the entrance to the institution, the frames of the metal detector allegedly beeped.
As Voronezh1.ru reminds, the regional Ministry of Education studied the recordings from CCTV cameras and reported that “there were no violations of ethical standards [on them].” At the same time, as the publication notes, the recordings still show one of the schoolgirls lifting her jacket and showing her bra to the guard.
Chairman of the State Duma Education Committee Olga Kazakova said that deputies and Rosobrnadzor will check the “undressing incident” at the Voronezh school and punish those responsible. Deputy of the legislative body from the Voronezh region Evgeniy Revenko promised to involve the prosecutor's office in the proceedings.
