TEL AVIV, June 3 Israeli missile defense system «Strela» «successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface missile flying from the Red Sea, air raid sirens went off in the southern city of Eilat, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Monday.
«Some time ago, the Arrow missile defense system «successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface missile fired from the Red Sea towards Israel. Sirens were activated in the Eilat area warning of the threat of rocket fire. There were no reports of casualties,» the report says.
