NOVOSIBIRSK, June 3. There are currently no deaths or injuries as a result of a major fire in a warehouse with flammable materials in Novosibirsk, which was burning over an area of 4.5 thousand square meters, Pavel Vinakov, head of the press service of the State Emergency Management Directorate for the Novosibirsk Region, told reporters.
“There are no dead or injured at the scene of the fire at the moment,” said Vinakov.
According to him, a fire train is heading to the place of extinguishing the fire. Specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are using an unmanned aerial vehicle to inspect the roof of the building for the presence of hidden sources of combustion.
«To detect sources of fire, three units of the gas and smoke protection service are working using individual respiratory protection equipment. In total, 66 personnel and 20 units of fire equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire,» the State Emergency Management Directorate reported.
