The German tuning studio Mansory seems to have already done everything it can with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV impossible, but there is no limit to perfection: a one-piece project Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition has been presented, which can be called the apotheosis of heavy luxury for those who have no restrictions either in money or taste.
Mansory specialists have extensive experience in manufacturing custom conversions based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the three most striking examples being the three-door Mansory Gronos Coupe EVO C, the raised Mansory Gronos 4×4 with portal axles and the six-wheeled Mansory Gronos 6×6 pickup truck. Unveiled over the weekend, the Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition is perhaps the most kitschy and luxurious of all Gelica-based conversions available, and it's a one-off.

Let us recall that in March of this year, the stock Mercedes-Benz G-Class underwent another restyling and a month later acquired an electric version of the G 580 with EQ Technology, but the Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition project was based on the pre-restyling SUV in the top-end version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo petrol engine, the maximum output of which is 585 hp. and 850 Nm. Mansory removes 900 hp and 1200 Nm from this engine, thanks to which the acceleration time to 100 km/h has been reduced from 4.5 to 3.3 seconds, the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

The main feature of the Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition, however, is not the souped-up engine, but the body, lengthened by 20 cm compared to the stock car, and painted gold. The entire increase was in the wheelbase, so that the second row of seats could be moved away from the first and provide royal comfort there at the level of executive sedans.

In the second row of the Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition there are two luxury chairs, separated by a high cabinet-organizer with pull-out tables, cup holders and a refrigerator for drinks. The rear doors have become completely rectangular, without bevels in the area of the wheel arches; they open in the opposite direction to the front for ease of getting in and out; the sills are equipped with retractable footrests. The seat belts for the second row seats are mounted on the backrests, and not on the body pillars.

The interior, of course, is re-upholstered in delicate perforated leather and generously decorated with carbon fiber with a custom fiber weaving pattern. The engine start button has been moved to the ceiling. The ceiling decoration is a massive panel with many LEDs forming a luminous map of the world.

The brutal external body kit of the golden SUV is familiar to us from other Mansory conversions based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63; it makes the body much wider. The 24-inch FD.15 wheels are painted in body color. In this case, there is no high spoiler at the end of the roof and an LED “chandelier” at its beginning, since Mansory designers wanted to give this one-piece “helik” the aesthetics of a golden brick. We must pay tribute — they did it.
The cost of the Mansory P900 EWB Gold Edition has not been announced, but we believe it cost the customer a seven-figure sum in euros.
