MOSCOW, June 4 Production infrastructure was hit in the city of Konotop Sumy region in northern Ukraine as a result of shelling, city mayor Artem Semenikhin said on Tuesday.
“We had an “arrival”… The production infrastructure of our city was hit,” Semenikhin said in a video published on his page on the social network Facebook*.
As the official stated, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties, the consequences of the strike are being clarified. Public transport is limited in the city.
The Russian Armed Forces began striking the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to the Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out against energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country. Since then, an air raid alert has been announced in Ukrainian regions every day, sometimes throughout the country.
