MOSCOW, June 3 — . A girl of Ukrainian origin Elizaveta Kravets was deprived of the title “Miss Bulgaria”, which she received in 2023, for failure to fulfill obligations, the organizers of the competition reported on social networks.
Kravets was recognized as the most beautiful girl in Bulgaria in September 2023 at the age of 17.
«The head of the Miss Bulgaria organization regrets to announce that he has decided to strip the current winner, Mademoiselle Elizaveta Kravets, of her crown,» the statement reads.
As noted, the decision is related to Kravets’s failure to fulfill obligations and participation in activities that contradict the values of the Miss Bulgaria organization. According to the organizers, these violations damaged the reputation, image and prestige of the national beauty contest. It is not specified what exactly we are talking about. Usually, the winners of a beauty pageant sign a contract according to which they must take part in advertising or charity events of the organizing company for a year.
From June 3, Elizaveta Kravets is prohibited from using the title “Miss Bulgaria” in public communications, including on social networks and financial correspondence.
According to media reports, Kravets has lived in Bulgaria since he was seven years old. Her father is Ukrainian and her mother is Bulgarian of Ukrainian origin.
