MOSCOW, June 3 The logistics operator SDEK resumed the movement of parcels and released most of the delayed shipments, the rest plans to be released in the near future, the company’s press service reports.
«The movement of shipments has resumed, most of the delayed parcels have been released, the remaining ones are planned to be released in the near future. We apologize to all our customers who were affected by the situation,» the message said.
It is noted that SDEK has resumed accepting shipments, including through couriers. However, parcels are currently accepted at standard rates; special offers are not yet available.
The mobile application, website, and personal user accounts have resumed operation.
«Nevertheless, we still have many tasks, we are working to return to the previous speed, volume and convenience for all our clients,» the press service added.
Responsibility for the cyber attack on SDEK on Monday was claimed by the hacker group Head Mare — corresponding messages appeared on the group’s account on the social network X. User complaints about problems with receiving and issuing shipments from SDEK appeared on May 26, and the next day the company reported a large-scale technical failure and plans to resume work on May 27.
