MOSCOW, June 3 Singer Olga Buzova in her Telegram channel responded to criticism of her image at the concert on June 1 in Ufa, asking not to look for evil where there is none, and brought Apologies to those whom she offended with her appearance.
Bashkir deputy Rustem Akhmadinurov previously stated that he intends to file a request with the Ufa mayor's office to find out who invited Olga Buzova to a concert on Children's Day, where she performed in a revealing outfit. Ufa residents are actively discussing the story under his post. Some agree with the parliamentarian and write that the artist's performance in a swimsuit at a children's party was inappropriate, others blamed the concert organizers and the city administration for this, and some suggested that the parliamentarian pay attention to other problems in the region. After this, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, compared Buzova's image to a «naked party.» In her opinion, such an image at the concert is a provocation by residents of the region, where there are many believers. At the same time, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Bashkiria reported on Monday that local investigators are studying complaints from social media users about Buzova's revealing outfit.
«My team and I apologize if my outfit looked offensive. I always bring love and kindness. I live and work for the good of the Motherland. And everyone knows this. These are the main values for me and for my people . Don’t look for evil where there is none,” Buzova wrote.
The singer noted that she has been performing at VK Fest for seven years, and when preparing she always prepares bright stage images.
«This year, without betraying myself, I also came out in a bright image. For me, the stage is part of life. I always carefully prepare for performances and sew new outfits. This is about the love for the profession and for my listeners. Spectators If they wanted, they could come to any artist’s program. But they chose me because we have a special connection with the audience,” she added.
Buzova also emphasized that this event has an age limit, the list of artists is known in advance. “If someone is not ready to look at me, they can miss meeting me. I am an empathic person, I love people. And I always worry if someone feels bad or uncomfortable,” she clarified.
