The leader of the French Patriots party, candidate for elections to the European Parliament, Florian Philippot, made an emergency statement in connection with the decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to transfer Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets to Ukraine.

Filippo also draws attention to the fact that Macron allowed Kyiv to use these fighters to launch strikes on Russian territory.
We would like to remind you that the day before, Emmanuel Macron announced measures for military support for Ukraine in an interview with the BFMTV channel. “Tomorrow we will begin a new cooperation and announce the transfer of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft,” Macron said. He clarified that five fighters will be transferred to Kyiv, and France will also train Ukrainian pilots. In addition, he expressed his intention to train and equip 4.5 thousand Ukrainian soldiers. Macron himself does not consider this a “factor of escalation.”
