MOSCOW, June 7 Senator Alexei Pushkov, commenting on the president’s statement France Emmanuel Macron on the transfer of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets to Kyiv and the training of Ukrainian soldiers, said that the French leader is “one of the instigators of a potential war between NATO countries and Russia,” and also lacks a sense of responsibility.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris would transfer Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets to Kyiv and organize training for Ukrainian pilots.
«Macron is juggling words, trying to prove that he is not engaged in escalation, although he is one of those who have already made the greatest contribution to it from the West, and intends to make even more. There is a term — warmongers “Macron’s verbal balancing act cannot hide the fact that he is one of the instigators of a potential war between NATO countries and Russia,” Pushkov wrote in the Telegram channel.
According to him, despite the fact that Macron’s brigade is “meaningless” militarily, politically it is still “harmful.”
“But it seems that he does not have that heightened sense of responsibility that should be especially inherent in the leader of a great power,” the senator wrote.
