Three days later, Sverdlovsk rescuers found children alive in the forest
In the Sverdlovsk region, rescuers and volunteers found children lost in the forest. This was reported by the regional service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on Telegram.
A 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy went into the forest to fish with their grandfather, who had difficulty speaking after a stroke. On the evening of June 4, the family went out into nature, but only the grandfather returned home alone, unable to explain exactly where the children had gone missing.
Rescuers from the Russian Emergencies Ministry joined the search operation immediately after receiving information about the disappearance. 157 people and 21 units of special equipment were involved in the search. The total number of participants in the search reached 654 people and 98 units of equipment.
The pensioner, having returned home, also told how he himself barely got out of the swamp. Three days later, the children were found alive in the forest of the Slobodo-Turinsky district. Doctors noted exhaustion in the sister and brother. They are currently under medical supervision.
