MOSCOW, June 7 The Basmanny Court of Moscow took into custody former Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Sergei Vlasov in the case of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale, they reported in the press service of the court.
“»By the decision of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention in relation to the former deputy governor of the Krasnodar Territory Sergei Alexandrovich Vlasov, accused of committing a crime under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code RF (receiving a bribe on an especially large scale), for a period of 1 month 30 days, until August 5,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
As indicated in court with reference to the investigation, Vlasov, holding the position of deputy governor of the Krasnodar Territory, received a personal bribe from a person for general patronage and connivance in the service, which consists in failure to take action on facts of illegal activity, the use of authority or other opportunities in resolving the issues of the bribe giver.
