The Ministry of Digital Development is working on an initiative to prohibit businesses from sending requests to government agencies in any form except electronically from 2025, said the head of the ministry Maksut Shadayev during his speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
«We are now working on an initiative to ban the circulation of business in any form, except electronic, from a certain date next year. To any structures associated with the state,» the minister said. 
He added that in the structure of incoming documents to the Ministry of Digital Development, 20% come in paper form. “These are requests, correspondence on contracts, all kinds of reporting on contracts,” Shadayev clarified.
