The meeting, which took place on Saturday at the Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg in the presence of 15,063 spectators, ended with a score of 1:0. Daria Yakovleva scored the goal in the 81st minute.
CSKA won the Russian Cup last season, and Zenit became the national champion. The army team won the Super Cup for the first time.
