
MOSCOW, June 7, As part of the II Moscow Summer Music Festival, a folk song in a symphonic arrangement will be performed in Zaryadye.
The musical project Zventa Sventana will hold its first concert in collaboration with the Persimfans orchestra and the ensemble of Russian authentic music Toloka on June 7 at 7 p.m.
There will be symphonic arrangements of folk songs collected during ethnographic expeditions and reworked by the duo Zventa Sventana — finalist of the second season of “The Voice” Tina Kuznetsova and Yuri Usachev. He is the founder of the cult group «Guest from the Future», a pioneer of the Russian electronic scene.
The team rethought folklore works, adapting them for the modern listener. The duo has four studio albums, millions of views on YouTube, headlining status at the country's main festivals and performances at SPIEF, World Expo Dubai and the Davos Economic Forum.
Persimfance is an orchestra with no conductor, each participant can take leadership.
Toloka is an ensemble of Russian authentic music, whose artists work in experimental genres, collaborate with Diana Vishneva, the House of Radio and the Context festival.
To create the arrangements of Zventa Sventana, they involved professional musicians who have received numerous awards, for example, Alexey Retinsky, a resident of the House of Radio and Golden Mask nominee, sound artist and pianist Peter Aidu, baroque music specialist Rust Pozyumsky, Ivan Naborshchikov, violinist and composer who has worked with conductors such as Teodor Currentzis, Giovanni Antonini and Thomas Sanderling.
