MOSCOW, June 8 Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya filed a claim for protection of honor and dignity in the amount of 10 million rubles against artist Philip Kirkorov because of words about » a beggar,” said Uspenskaya’s lawyer Elena Senina.
“We filed a lawsuit in the Basmanny Court of Moscow,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
< br />Previously, Senina stated that Kirkorov, in a recent interview with the MUZ-TV channel, called Uspenskaya a “beggar” who “begs for clothes and gifts.” Uspenskaya demands that Kirkorov refute what was said.

At first, Senina sent the artist a pre-trial claim, to which he did not respond.
Previously, Kirkorov himself filed a lawsuit in the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow against Uspenskaya because of her interview with journalist Alena Zhigalova, in which the artist was called a “misogynist.” He demanded 10 million rubles in compensation and 2 million legal expenses from the singer. The defendant does not recognize the claims. The court postponed the hearing until June 24 for possible reconciliation of the parties.
