The biopic will tell about the creative journey of the members of the female pop group «Combination» consisting of Tatyana Ivanova (Elizaveta Bazykina), Alena Apina (Anastasia Ukolova), Olga Akhunova (Daria Rudenok), Yulia Kozyulkova (Polina Gukhman), Svetlana Kostyuko (Tatyana Struzhenkova) and Nyura Kovaleva (Sofia Volodchinskaya).
An employee of the Saratov OBKhSS (Department for Combating the Theft of Socialist Property) Alexander Shishinin (Nikita Kologrivy), after the birth of his daughter, decides to take up his dream job — producing a musical group. He meets the talented composer Vitaly Okorokov (Vladimir Kanukhin). Together they literally find vocalists on the street and assemble the first female pop group in the Soviet Union, whose hits will be heard throughout the country.

“The filming of episodes about the acquaintance of the group members and the recording of the debut album “Knight’s Move” with the hits “White Evening” and “Hey, Mom” took place in places of real events from the life of “Combinations”,” the press service said.
In the series, viewers will see the historical center, Kirov Square, the Saratov Palace of Culture, the Dynamo stadium, the Saratov Conservatory, the rotunda on the Volga embankment from the video “White Evening”, as well as locations in the neighboring city of Engels, from where the rehearsals are taking place. the bass guitarist of the group, Olga Akhunova, came. One of the first soloists of the “Combination”, Alena Apina, will appear in the biopic not in a cameo, but in the role of a conservatory teacher.
