MOSCOW, June 9 The leader of the National Rally party, which is winning the European Parliament elections in France, Jordan Bardella, has called on the country's President Emmanuel Macron to organize early elections to the French parliament.
«We solemnly ask him to acknowledge this new political reality… and to organize new parliamentary elections,» Bardella said, speaking to supporters of his party after the preliminary results of the European Parliament elections in France were released.
Bardella noted that the large gap in the results of the National Rally and the presidential Renaissance party indicates that the French reject the policies pursued by Macron and his government.
«This evening, a wind of hope has risen over France, and this is just the beginning,» said Bardella.
The head of the «National Rally» called Macron a «weakened president» in light of the results of the European Parliament elections.
According to him, the French have shown that they want Europe to change its course of development.
