MOSCOW, June 11 The Kuntsevo court in Moscow sentenced to 14 years in prison the former adviser to the director of the Scientific Center for Immunology of Moscow State University Andrei Molokoedov, whom the media call the “scientific director” of the RACCO PMC , the correspondent reports from the courtroom.
““Based on the totality of crimes, Molokoyedov will finally be sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment in a maximum security colony,” judge Nadezhda Kalashnikova announced the decision.
Molokoyedov was found guilty of creating a criminal community operating under the guise of the military-patriotic organization “United People’s Communal Partnerships” (RACOON), extortion and death threats. During the debate between the parties, the prosecutor's office demanded 14 years in prison for him.
On June 4, the Moscow Garrison Military Court acquitted five members of the ENOTE PMC, considering the very fact of creating a criminal community unproven and pointing out that the defendants were not involved in other crimes. Ex-FSB officer Alexander Mrishchuk and the other four defendants were released in the courtroom.
According to the prosecution, Mrishchuk and former FSB major Anton Bryakshev created a criminal community under the guise of a military-patriotic organization. They attacked warehouses and entrepreneurs suspected of customs violations, and in the course of allegedly operational investigative actions they confiscated valuables. Ordinary participants in «Enot» presented themselves as witnesses or assistants to operatives.
Bryakshev admitted guilt, cooperated with the investigation and was sentenced to six years in prison.
