PERM, June 11 A Perm social activist, who headed an organization to combat the gambling business, but for “remuneration” covered the work of an underground club, was arrested by security forces, reports the press service of the regional Investigative Committee RF.
According to the department, the head of the ANO for the suppression of illegal gambling activities knew reliably about a group of people who organized gambling in Perm on gaming equipment from March to August 2022. The man turned a blind eye to the underground club and did not report it to law enforcement agencies, but for his silence he demanded and received a monthly “reward.” Thus, the Perm resident “earned” more than 300 thousand rubles.
