The 49-year-old convicted ex-chief of Bryansk correctional colony No. 6, Alexey Levin, died in the war in Ukraine. His friend Oleg Minakov spoke about this on his VKontakte page. The publication “7×7” drew attention to his post.
“Today we said goodbye to Alexei Levin, who died in his kingdom of heaven and eternal peace. We will always remember you,” Minakov wrote on June 1 (spelling and punctuation preserved). He published a photo of Levin in military uniform with “Svarog” written on his chest.

Then, taking into account the previous sentence, the head of the penal colony was sentenced to nine years in a maximum security colony and was prohibited from holding public office for seven years.
