The general director of the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant, Pavel Khodorovsky, was detained in Chelyabinsk. RBC reports this with reference to the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
The department said that criminal cases have been opened against Khodorovsky and other people “for committing crimes against the sexual integrity of minors and public morality.”
According to Ura.ru, the general director of CHEMK is suspected of indecent acts with minors (Article 135 of the Criminal Code). The publication's source claims that a detained pimp testified against Khodorovsky, who said that the manager had sex with children 14-15 years old for money. Ura.ru also writes that there is video evidence of this in the case.
On February 26, a court in the Sverdlovsk region granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office for the transfer of shares of ChEMK plants to the state. According to the department, the plant was “illegally privatized” in 1993-1999.
On the same day, the owner of ChEMK, billionaire Yuri Antipov, was detained. After interrogation in the fraud case, he was released on his own recognizance. According to RIA Novosti, Antipov is a witness in this case.
