MOSCOW, June 12 Apple has overtaken Microsoft in terms of capitalization and has once again become the most valuable company in the world, according to trading data.
As of 18.36 Moscow time, the price of Apple shares grew by 4.8%, to $217.14 per security. Thus, the company’s capitalization at the moment reached $3.33 trillion. In addition, earlier during trading, the price of Apple shares reached a new all-time high of $218.1.
Microsoft's market value at the same time was $3.261 trillion. The third most valuable company in the world, Nvidia, reached $3.089 trillion.
Apple shares are actively growing in price for the second day in a row; on Tuesday they rose in price by 7.3%. Earlier on Monday, the company announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into Apple apps.
Apple, founded in 1976, produces personal and tablet computers, audio players, phones, smart watches and software.
